Carpenter Bee
Scientific Name: Xylocopa You
probably notice these bees hovering around
outside of your home during spring or early
summer. They are searching for mates and
favorable wood to start their nests.
Carpenter
Bee Entry Hole This is a
perfectly round hole drilled by the carpenter
bee to enter their nest. The “Carpenter Bee
Chamber” is also designed to mimic the entry
hole.
Carpenter Bee Larva
Chamber
This is where the carpenter bee will lay her
larva brood. We designed the “Carpenter Bee
Chamber” to mimic there natural nesting process.
Carpenter
Bee Larva These are
pictures of larva that the female has laid to
hatch. This new brood will also use the same
chamber to have the next generation of wood
destroying carpenter bees. The “Carpenter Bee
Chamber” will help you eliminate this continuous
egg laying process.
